Underslung mirrors, overslung are available for EFL/MY
Speedo, 4 types avail, Mk1, EFL, T5, MY
Handlebar top, 3 types avail, MK1, EFL, MY T5 is radically different
Tube bushes are unique to LML models only
Chassis/frame, 2 types, injection & non injection. T5 T5 radically different as it has a longer seat area
Horn casting, 4 types, Mk1, EFL, MY & T5
Rear protection/bumper, several types available
T5 DISC, unique to LML, see schematic further on for T5 drum.
Fuel sender unit, Piaggio & LML are different
Crank engine cases, several types, MK1 points model small block, MK1 points model large block, small & large block electronic and or electric start EFL or MY, T5 injection or non inj, LML 3 port small block same as piaggio EFL, LML reed small block

Primary drive,
PX125, 150, T% & LML vary from 21 teeth to 22. P200 has 23 teeth and is unique to the large block
Old style clutch assy, either six spring 4” for PX125-150-LML or 7 spring 4.25” for P200 & T5
Clutch basket,
There are three types, 4” 6 spring found on earlier PX, 4.25” 7 spring found on P200, T5, and the later COSA style clutch found on P200, PX125 MY
Barrels come in three basic sizes, 125, 150, 200cc. The T5 version is radically different
Overview on crank cases, there are three types, small block 125-150, large block 200 and the unique T5. These all have unique barrel/pistons and cranks.
Silencers. There are three types, standard px125 expansion, standard 200 expansion and the unique T5 expansion..
The later 125 came in catalysed specification and can be very restrictive.
Headlamp units, the P range versions all had glass tungsten type reflectors and bulbs, however the later MY model has plastic & halogen fitment. The MK1 T5 has a unique reflector
Stoplight switch, this is generic on all P ranges
Rear reflecter assy, several versions apply please check. Mk1 T5 is unique
Plug socket to offer power to panel indicators
Rear shock. This is an Indian full length version, the Italian unit has an extension nut on the top & has a shorter body
NB, T5 and older Rally flyside bearings are different
Castleated nut & tab washer, COSA style clutch has a flange nut instead
T5 style key tray, strangely referred to in Piaggio parts book as a ‘drinks tray’. Surely your pint would fall off in heavy traffic?
Swinging arm bolt (foundation bolt). PX125-150 has different silent blocks (rubber bush’s) than P200 & T5
3 types of plastic cooling 125-200, P200 and T5

T5 Mk1, T5 classic has normal round PX lamp unit & handlebar
3 types of carb used all derivitive SI Dell’orto or Spaco/Jetex
20, 22, 24 mm venturi, T5 24mm short stack vortex type with larger filter.
26mm spaco variant available as after market part. Versions available as non inj or full oil injection.
HYDRAULIC FRONT BRAKE DISC VARIANT, DISC-EFL-LML-PIAGGIO MY, T5 only ever produced as drum version except export LML variant.
EFL & LML handlebar shell top has notch for brake hose, MY has vanity extension bar moulded in to
Master cylinder, usually Grimeca or Asian copy
Slave cylinder or ‘calliper’
Calliper holding bracket, 2 types available, Piaggio & LML
Front disc hub, 2 types available Piaggio & LML. Both are inter changeable but not mixable
WIRING LOOMS: several types produced over the years all with slightly different plug sockets but basically can be divided in to AC & DC types, seek advice if unsure
HT COIL: Piaggio use a combined ‘Ducati’ style CDI/coil unit, LML use separate units
Selecter box, 2 types, earlier and later EFL onwards
MAGNETO ASSY: 3 types available, PX125-150-200-LML STAR, T5, and LML external pickup such as used on NV & Stella.
Layshaft spindle, 2 types Mk1 15mm and later EFL 17mm
Layshaft or ‘input shaft nut & washers
Rear hub oilseals, 2 types, internal ‘later EFL onwards’ and external type,
Kickstart levers, t types, PX & T5
Pretty much common except for variants on teeth, MK1 uses the old 150 super small toothed gears with 15mm layshaft spindle, if in doubt seek advice
Earlier output groups use a one circlip setup
Cruciform or ‘selector spider’. Flat EFL onwards type & earlier Mk1 ‘directional type with bush. T5 is also directional but uses no bush
Handlebar base unit, 2 types, PX drum, PX DISC
New style clutch is known as ‘COSA’ and is generic to MY PX 125 & 200
